All horses are open to an independent vetting if the purchaser so chooses. This vetting must be undertaken within 7 days of deposit or prior to the horse leaving the premises whichever is sooner.

No horse will leave Brackenspa Stud until funds have cleared in full. The passport or identity document will not be released until the balance is cleared.

Liability of the animal becomes the responsibility of the purchaser on receipt of the deposit or agreed sale figure. Brackenspa Stud accepts no responsibility and offers no insurance cover once a deposit/purchase has been placed/agreed.

Worming and farrier will be covered by the stud up to weaning. Vet costs will be charged to the purchaser. There will be no livery charge for foals until weaning (6 mnths).

Weanlings/older youngstock should be collected within 7 days of sale/weaning unless otherwise agreed.  Livery will be charged by agreement for periods longer than this.

It is recommended by Brackenspa Stud that the purchaser take out insurance on the animal.

All animals are sold in good health, handled and happy to lead, any impairments/deformities are disclosed and any vices noted.

All foals are sold with relevant passports and microchips.  Naming can be organized but the prefix shall be given.

Brackenspa Stud offer no insurance cover it is suggested that insurance is taken out to cover public liability, 3rd party damages and veterinary fees.
